This is a close up of the jock strap from the current bound incubus artwork in progress. When I draw something like a jock strap, I like to be a little different. In this case, I’ve gone for a metallic leather look with spikes. I might take it even further.
One thing I’ve run into when taking photos of my artwork instead of scans, is sometimes I get this wonky perspective. It started out as just something odd, but I’ve realized that by tilting the work, I get something more out of it. So while this little piece is going to stay in its original perspective, I might keep this in mind for a larger painting later on.
