Erotic City at LA Pride

I came up with this as a quick visual for the event. Kind of a placeholder. It doesn’t fit the feel corporate sponsors will be comfortable with. I doubt it will see official use, but it helps put the Q in the event and represents our brothers from groups such as Avatar LA

We’re past the event horizon for that which is called LA Pride. We’ve schmoozed the press on Thursday. We pregamed with the queens Saturday at the Trans Brunch. We rubbed elbows with the power gays at LA Mayor Garcetti’s Garden Party. It’s Wednesday, this must be WeHo Mayor’s Garden Party. We are locked on course for the singularity of Erotic City at LA Pride, June 9th and 10th.

After DomCon, Mistress Cyan already had to leave skid marks for other appearances out of town. So as soon as wheels came down back at LAX, we had to wrap up post DomCon coverage and hit the ground running for Erotic City and LA Pride.

Erotic City is like a mini-DomCon, but leaning more towards the leathermen community. We’re partnering with Avatar LA for kinky performances and hands on demonstrations of BDSM techniques. We also have a few friends coming to vend like Nix from Firebird Leather.

Was working on this while at the Mayor’s Garden Party. Pride’s Grand Marshal Michaela Mendelsohn graciously complemented the work. Thank you kindly! The original is an experiment and will receive a color wash for the background and a coffee wash for the skin tones (first time trying this, very anxious). But I’m thinking of scanning this and adding color on computer for marketing use for EC.

And it’s not as if I can do this all from the office air conditioned by God himself. I’m already running late in prepping for our meeting with WeHo Mayor Duran at the Garden Party this evening.

More art ideas for Erotic City at LA Pride. If they don’t work, we may be able to auction them for some of the fundraisers in the future.

Our hastag this year is #JustBe. Last week, I got caught up in the mainstream nature and was baffled as to how to remain corporate casual, not look like a potbellied redneck, and still be me. Sunday was the final wake up call. We have plenty of people who fit in this year. Instead, we need more sashes, leather vests, and some roughness around the edges. There’s a lot of work ahead, but Mistress Cyan is making sure the Q stays in LGBTQI+
