Artwork has been creeping along, which pisses me off because I have to get stuff finished for the comic show next Sunday. I completely skipped the game today.
The secret project has taken some interesting turns. It involves woodwork. I found myself wearing safety glasses, hearing protection, a mask, and covered in sawdust. Definitely not sexy, but I couldn’t help but think of gas masks and goggles while in the garage.
Not quite sure what I was thinking of when I drew it, but I should talk to Downtown Willy about the idea of a bondage rig including bat wings. Maybe I can incorporate this drawing into the project some way too.
I’m not a carpenter. Sherry was very interested the wood work and her Mom has donated things like a scroll saw, router table, and rotary tool to help get things done. Today, Sherry began backing out. This left me experimenting with the radial saw and other tools. What’s frustrating is even if I could go public with this right now, it would be boring. Wow! Pieces of unfinished routed wood, so sexy…not!
Sherry and I did have a long talk. I thought there was a shorter timeline to get this knocked out. I want to have prototypes ready to go by Domcon, but I thought Sherry needed hers sooner. So I can focus more time on things like getting ready for the comic show. At least I got the garage cleaned up a bit.
