New “Venus in Furs” With the Femdom Art of Sardax!

New Venus in Furs novel illustrated by Sardax

This came in my mail a couple of days ago from Tim Woodward of Skin Two. Written by Leopold von Sacher-Masoch, Venus in Furs is the legendary and controversial Femdom work that not only gave root to the term Masochism, but also would later cause debate over male fantasy of Female Dominance vs. Feminism when Leopold’s wife released her memoir (but that’s a book for another time).

Venus in Furs has been translated into many languages, and has been adapted for stage, screen, and comics. However, the great Femdom artist Sardax has been one of the major forces behind a new translation of the German book.

Sardax describes his own new edition of Venus in Furs as his labour of love. Says the description from Skin Two. He started over ten years ago, having found previous versions badly translated and crudely illustrated.

This labor of love has materialized as a hardcover novel, lovingly translated, and with 30 illustrations by Sardax. This is a must for any kinky library, and a fantastic gift.
