The Femdom art portrait of Mistress Irene Boss above really started to come together at the Domcon. I had finished inking her in, and had just started inking in her slave, but I still had a big patch to the right to work on. I decided to skip the stone doorway and opted for a cabinet. While at the convention, I started to give it extra detail. Irene may not have such a cabinet, but the thought is she might want or dream of something like this in the dungeon.
Domcon LA went by way too fast. While I got in some nice drawing time at some of the socials and while watching the door as a volunteer (got some lovely compliments too), I only got to check out about half the vendors. I got to say hi to Julie Simone, and hang out for a bit with the folks from Dominatrix Directory International, but didn’t get anywhere near the amount of social time or Femdom art drawing time that I had hopped for.
While at Domcon, I did have the opportunity to meet Goddess Sadie Hawkins, and I gave her the portrait I finished a couple months ago. She loves it, and I’m so happy this worked out.
When Sherry and I got back Saturday night, we found my new toys came in! These little nasties are from StudsAndSpikes.com. They’re so pretty!
Sunday, I took the day off, from pretty much everything. I slept in, took a ride, and took a little bit to play with the new toys and my bike, The Grey Mistress.
Everything is looking great, but something seriously went wrong on Monday. I took the bike over to the night gig, and while I’ve received great compliments, the weight was a serious issue. Now, riding the bike on its own has been easy, but when I added the backpack and gear, it felt like I was hauling lead. I’ve realized, that’s exactly what’s going on. My GPS navigator pack uses a bag of lead shot to stay in place. Of all the gear, that’s the heaviest. From here, I can re-work a few things, but that will be another story.
