I’m about to head over to Hillary’s Vanity for her birthday party vendor fair today. I’m not showing, but I am bringing the sketchbook and a portfolio just in case. Next Sunday I’m meeting up with Roger T. Pipe and hanging out at the Los Angeles Comic Book and Science Fiction Convention.
This Femdom art piece above comes from the art show, Flames, Floggers and Fangs. This ranked among one of my favorites because of the dramatic shading. The irony is I’m a big fan of the technique, especially for shiny leather and latex, but didn’t know where it came from. Whereas I’ve just drawn in the spikey shine with technical pens, it wasn’t until a couple of weeks ago I learned that it is a common brush technique. The brushes save time and give that dramatic look.
I’m getting reallllllly tired of Cafe Press’ little antics. I’ll admit, sales are slow, but the issue I’m having is the shuffle I have to do when doing a new piece every week. I went to upload the piece above, and there was nothing open to put her on. So I remove a few items, and suddenly more items become available to use the Femdom art on.
It’s damned confusing. I just had to go back and add some more t-shirts that weren’t available before.
The funny irony is I’m now living for the day where I can afford to buy some of this stuff for our home. It’s cool to have a coffee mug or two, but where else can you get a Femdom cookie jar, drinking glasses, jewelry box, and pillows? You could decorate a whole Dungeon with this stuff.
Should I be retasking some of these items? Should I come up with clothespin art for the cookie jar? Could a nurse-themed drinking glass be used to hold medical toys? I could really use some input here.
