This has got to sound like the name of the next erotic best seller. Silent Partner was a bar cover band that played in my home town of Livermore, California. They were jamming at a bar down the street from my house, and pretty damned good.
They saw all the fetish art I was having kinky fun drawing, along with the Dominatrix calendars, which were quite a success that year. One of the guys in the band asked me to whip something up, and they gave a description of their idea.
This was whipped up on the fly at the bar. Bar room commissions were not uncommon for me at the time. I was used to drawing by bar light and could slap something together pretty quick. They loved it.
Pity, never heard from them afterwards. Wonder what happened to them. Maybe someone took the name too seriously.
Things are moving pretty fast this morning. I’m meeting up with my old friend Chris from AVN, and her husband, Chris. We just had someone named Chris staying over last week, and we introduced him to another Chris at the Xbiz 360 convention. I’ve got too many Chrises down here! This is really getting confused.
Valentina is now complete and will have a post of her own come Saturday. I’ve been doing a lot of work getting her ready and there will be plenty to see over at CafePress. There’s other V-day art coming down the pike as well, but those might not make it past the Cafe Press censors 🙂
