This bit of fetish art comes from a flyer I was working on. Magick and Fetish Shop was still in business at the time and I was working up the nerve to push for an art show. Unfortunately, the place went out of business before the art show could happen.
The irony to pieces like this is I had big teenage influence from Reji Matsumoto, who loved blonde women with big boobs (and pirates, note the eyepatch). He was inspired by women in French films. You’ll find at least half a dozen blonde Dominatrix cowgirls in my galleries. While I knew of Skye Blue at the time, she wasn’t an influence, but I can’t help but think these pieces provided was a touch of divination. Later I would meet Skye Blue while at AVN, and eventually become the publicist for the Dominant blond cowgirl’s company, Platinum Blue Productions.
I can’t look at pieces like this without thinking of Skye for a minute. She was a blast to work for and of course I miss it.
Eventually, I got my own art show. It was short and not what I expected, but I had to give it a shot. Let’s just say it was one hell of a learning experience.
