A Lot Going on Lately

Wow! Things moved so fast, my head is spinning. Quick updates, DomCon New Orleans was probably the best show since maybe 2019. New volunteers, better set up, and great attendance. More things happened, but I need to address what’s coming up this weekend.

November 10th, Mistress Cyan is having her annual “Slave Auction” food and clothing drive at Sanctuary in Los Angeles. Show up with canned food, dry goods, slightly used (and clean please) clothing and blankets in exchange for auction money, or put your sexy ass up on the block for the night. I’ve done both, coming in with a grocery gift card (they’re lighter and sometimes food banks can get matching donations from groceries), then handing the auction money to someone who’d been flirting to bid on me. It’s also common for Dommes to pool funds to bid on someone they’d like to play with. This is all done consensually, fun AF, and for a great cause. Go to https://sanctuarylax.com/events/56759 for details.

This weekend, my clients from The Dungeon Store are busy. They’re at the Baltimore Playhouse on Saturday November 11th for Kinksgiving of Curiosities, a food/clothing drive and play party. We can’t do a press release on this, but I got asked to send some extra love their way regarding the event. Go to https://fetlife.com/events/1355465 to learn more.

The Dungeon Store will also have a table at the Academy of Fetish Arts Vendor Fair in Cleveland, Ohio this weekend. Go to the Fetlife profile for The Dungeon Store for event links and more events lined up ahead.

I’m calling it done for the moment. There’s a lot more that’s been happening, and more to show you, but I’m planning to update more regularly, and will post more surprises soon.

SORRY ABOUT YOUR HOLE stickers, mugs, and of course, red hankies

Fan Art Study – Stolas from Helluva Boss

Sketch of Stolas from Helluva Boss as a Pony Boi

Today was a mess, and it’s not over yet. There’s stuff I need to get out for DomCon New Orleans. The Dungeon Store needs attention. Then there’s the big client I don’t talk about here. But there comes a point where no, I have to walk away from the computer and do something with my hands. Tonight, there was a lot of cooking, but I swore I was going to dedicate about half an hour to drawing. As I sat in front of the TV, I realized a promise I made to myself was to do a drawing of Stolas from Helluva Boss as a pony boy.

And here’s the thing, Pony Boy Blitzy is on the canvas, line art just started, and it just needs paint from here. But I had no clue where to really start with Stolas. He’s a feathered challenge on it’s own. While Blits is basically a giant, curved V with sharp teeth, Stolas is… feathered, a little heart shaped, with feathers everywhere. Then it hit me that I had taken about three tries before I was even remotely serious about putting Blitz0 on Bristol board. Time to study Stolas.

And we’re off to a smashing start. I used Harvest Moon Festival for reference. The beginning bedroom bondage scene is a great reference for both Stolas and Blitz0. What I’ll have to change on future sketches is to have Stolas face the other direction, which there are great scenes for that too.

The equestrian gear is easier this time around. I left out the bridal straps, changed the collar, put studs instead of spikes on the headband, and Stolas needs two sets of blinders instead of one. But we’ve got the arm, I mean wing binders, and the headgear looks right. Even the horse ears felt a little easier to do.

I don’t see myself necessarily finishing this piece, but even if I didn’t it, could still go up for charity somewhere. But on to other things.

Speaking of other things, my clients at The Dungeon Store have a couple of very special things. On the left is their Violet Wand Holster. Pop the holster onto your belt and slide in your violet wand while using a contact cable, or clip the holster onto your subbie when grounding them for play. The holsters are shockingly handy. On the left is the ribbon corset, these are paste on jewelry with loops. They’re reusable and can be used on the back, legs, belly and more. They come with an extra ribbon and sets can be combined for more effects. It’s easy to get creative with them and they look awesome. The holsters and corsets are not yet available on the site. E-mail sales (at) thedungeonstore.com for order info and details. And for a discount, mention FETISHARTIST as a promo code 😉

Calling it Done Pony Boy Blitzy Fan Art

Pony Boy Blitzy Fan Art Meme of "You're still on the horse thing?"

So Pony Boy Blitzy was in the back of my mind like laundry that needed to get done, and I was working on other things. Saturday night, I sit back and finally get to Episode Six of Season 2 of Helluva Boss. And in the middle of the episode, I hear Fizz shout the line above. Laughed my ass off! So now, this is an official nod to Viv and the crew.

You're still on the horse thing? Meme from Helluvaboss, Season 2, Episode Six, OOPS. Screencap from the show. Copyright Spindlehorse & Vivziepop.

I did have a moment where Anna “Alterpic” Rose did a ponygirl post, so I did whip a quick screencap meme before finishing the top pic.

As for the original digital art, it really came down to design to finish it up. I let the hearts go (might come back to that), but I cropped it down to 11×17 at 300 dpi, and moved the Pony Pride Flag down below. This way it can get printed out as posters, and I haven’t cropped out my original line art.

Meanwhile, my friend Mia Darque was just on The Weekly Hot Spot Podcast with Miss Erika to talk about DomCon New Orleans in October and more. Listen in here below!
