So this has been on the back burner, maybe for over a year. This is one of those from when I was killing time, probably from an old sketch pad. I remember experimenting a lot with fleshtones and people of color. But I was at C-Frenz and needed something for a warm up, and found this in my art stuff. I pulled it out and kept going.
The hard part was figuring out what I wanted to do with her arms. Instead of her just having a whip or flogger, I decided to go with two.
As one of those sketches that had been hanging around, there was other stuff I experimented with. I think I was going to do this with a black inked background. There’s been a cartoonist doing little videos with their cut out character in various spots, and there’s an artist that does articulated paper dolls, so I thought, why not cut it out.
Not sure where it’s going after I finish. Might be a present for the holidays. Might paste it on something like a paddle. But I like where it’s going so far.
