UPDATE: Sorry everyone, but my Etsy shop is currently “on vacation” until the situation improves. Due to the nature of the paratransit job, the likelyhood of cross-contamination from work is real. I may be able to handle digital requests online, but for the moment it’s just safer for everyone this way.

Working on the road tonight. The Paratransit job is an essential service. The pandemic has most of us on edge. It kinda went from a bad joke about how stupid people are to a realization just how stupid we’ve all been about this. I’ve been changing and adapting day by day, week by week.

A couple months ago, Mistress Melody Pond sent me a DM on Twitter asking about commissions. The hard part was I was going into Lair At AVN, with a bunch of other things going on at the same time. So this had to wait.
With a few more things out of the way, I was able to bring the sketchpad into the van, and begin work on some original art for her. You can tell the funky perspective isn’t normally my style, but when I saw the photo, I really wanted to play with it. The first close up draft was great, but I couldn’t get her upper body on the paper. By tweaking the perspective and exaggerating parts, I got a more dramatic look, and she and I like it.
Then something developed. I was planning to hand color the piece using a combination of wet media, pens, and even some colored pencil, until I scanned it in. To sweeten the pot, I was going to do some stickers of the portrait for Melody. I could color in on Photoshop and get a feel for how things were working.
And they’re working much better than anticipated. Even better, I can do a larger print of this, and maybe even keep adding media like gel pens after printing. We’ll see how this goes. There’s much more to do. There’s a fishnet bodysuit to add on her sissy submissive. I need to add in detail on the chrome on her show. But this may change how I think about commissions in the future.
