So, Something Kinda Happened…

WIP keeping abreast

Gonna start with the good news first. Things are looking up. There’s plenty of work to be done and I’m keeping busy. Home is also coming together since Sherry past away. That’s why I haven’t updated often here.

What’s funny is I’ve had so much to share for my publicity clients on social media, that I’ve had to space that out with art from the archives. And that’s getting… old. Even considering they’re archives. So while I didn’t have much time to draw and art, now I have to come up with the time to draw and do art so I have something to include in my feeds between posts for The Dungeon Store, DomCon and Slubb.

Some of it is easier than others. I’m also doing more with Photoshop.

And something really cool came up. There’s a V-Tuber named Tonkatsu Sinclair. A character created by Absolute Unit. She’s hilarious.

I’ve already started a fan art piece of Tonkatsu and I’ll be posting some of that soon.

Bondage Reflections – Pink Latex Dominatrix in Progress

Pink Latex Dominatrix

Some of the best stuff started as a “throwaway” or “discard.” For example, Superfreak by Rick James was actually filler material. Some of the best Beatles songs were actually the B-sides. The first iconic works from The Pizz were painted on thrift store canvases and frames.

I still have issues with wasting stuff. I’m typing this from a desk made from a recycled coffee table and my monitor stand is actually a table leaf from the dining room.  So when I was at my vanilla gig with some down time, I needed something to draw on and an old sketch book and almost all the pages were used. But I had a page of old notes, and thought, well, let’s just play with this, I’ll do the backgrounds in black, and fill the space. If it doesn’t work, nobody cares.

And I kept going with it, having to keep it almost safe for work in case someone saw it. In December of last year, I took it off the sketchbook so I could finish it at home with the not safe for work last touch. Once again, I thought, if the little bondage bunny with an anal hook doesn’t work out, I can just cover that up with ink.

But, it was working. I had a night filling in the pink hair. I began to think through if I wanted to add more colors. The subbie was going to be in blue, but this isn’t really about her. This piece is really about the latex Domme.

It’s just about done. My plan is to custom cut a mat for it. But I may scan this in and use it for some promo stuff, maybe blow it up for Torture Garden Los Angeles, DomCon New Orleans, or Lair at AVN. We’ll see.

Dommes to watch out for

Erotic City Girls Fetish Artist

We ran into something with Lair at AVN. The point of the space was really because there was a whole mezzanine/skybox/balcony level at the Hard Rock hotel in Vegas that overlooked the show floor, and that level was easily, well, overlooked. It was hard to tell that space was really there, so it had to be made interesting in order for people to be drawn to it. Kind of like having the sauciest club night on the deadest night of the week, or having a great night club in the worst part of town. But people still had a hard time finding us.

My idea was to create some quick signage on the cheap, blueprint machines can print anything up to three feet wide with as much length is left on the roll of paper. Typically in black and white, but some can add in a simple color like red.

I whipped out these girls to be used in such signage, and also considered them for Erotic City. With covid, these got set back, but now that things have opened back up, we may still see them at Torture Garden LA, DomCon New Orleans, or Lair at AVN in 2023. So I’ll need to start cleaning up the artwork and see what we can do.
