October has been a hit the ground running kind of month, and things will not stop. The Sherman Oaks Munch is tonight. I’ll be bringing a couple of portfolios and the sketchpad.
Saturday is Miss Cassie’s Rope Munch at Sanctuary LAX. I’ll be there studying knots and ropework, but bringing the sketchpad for notes. I’ll bring a portfolio, but that will be for before and after the workshop. It’s a great place to practice knots and rigging in a comfortable atmosphere.
Sunday is the Tom of Finland drawing workshop. It’s simply a male drawing workshop. Women are welcome to attend, but the focus is on sketching and drawing the male nude figure in a variety of poses, some erotic, some not. I got some great pieces started there, including Amy the Facesitting Redhead. Coming full circle, I’ll be bringing those sketches from last month to the Sherman Oaks Munch tonight.
