Been working on this on and off for about a month. To recap. These videos kept popping up on YouTube shorts, repeatedly singing “I try to get the waiter’s attention by blinking in Morse code…” and it sounded funny, but after a while, I was like “WHERE THE FUCK DOES THAT COME FROM” and turns out it’s an animated music video by Tom Cardy called Red Flags (AKA Human Centipede). So of course, like many others, I did my own little animated nod.

Candidly, this was difficult. The line art was easy, coloring in the graphics went quickly. But I no longer have animation software like Flash to speed this up. So I saved a bunch of stills, built a little video in Camtasia, imported that into the YouTube, which allowed me to bring in Cardy’s music, saved it as private and downloaded the video. This has been deleted off of YouTube, as IMHO, there’s no way it would survive the TOS police. The result was a little rough, but such are memes.
There is some color on the original art, and I’m seriously thinking of matting it and sending it over to The Dungeon Store for use as a donation or raffle for one of the causes they support. I’ll update you when it’s ready.
Naughty? Yes. Potentially viral? Maybe? Worth the risk of a cease and desist to bring you a cheap laugh? Absolutely.
