This is a print I created for Sadie Hawkins, after I started rebooted site and started posting as @FetishArtist on Twitter. She was one of my first followers, liked my artwork and quickly asked about a commission.
It was a great honor to present her with the original art and color print in person.
Something changed about her not long after I finished the artwork. Something great happened. She kept changing her look. It looked like she was working out. She moved out to the southwest and it looked like things just kept getting more awesome.
All that ended Sunday morning, December 16th. She battled for her life after being shot in her own home. Details are sketchy, but indications are it was personal. I didn’t find out until last night and I’m still stunned by this, and enraged. The coincidence is not lost on us that she passed the day before “End the violence on sex workers day.”
I’m thinking of taking the rest of the day off from social media today. But first, I made a donation to the GoFundMe for Sadie. Daddi Panther set it up yesterday. They’ve already met their goal, but you can still kick in at https://www.gofundme.com/for-sadie-hawkins
