Good news! My submissions to the Gallery 30 South Coaster Show were approved. Special thanks to LA’s coolest cool hunter, Matt Kennedy for having me in the show. This is a huge honor.
The show will be October 4, through October 31st at Gallery 30 South, 30 S. Wilson Street in Pasadena, California, 91106. Go to http://gallery30south.com for hours and more gallery details.
These are the submissions to the show, B-sides were not officially submitted to avoid confusion. B-sides got listed separately in a catalog once and could have been sold to two different buyers for the same coaster. The gallery manager was also confused as to where the “missing coaster” went that he had a buyer for.
I deliberately kept the prices low for supporters. I’ll be at DomCon New Orleans when the opening reception happens on October 4th. However the show will be up until October 31st. As with last year, I’ll post a link to the catalog as soon as it becomes available and list my favorite fetishy pieces that made it into the show.
By the way, you do not have to be an established artist to submit to the next coaster show. The coaster show is a tradition that came over from La Luz de Jesus as a way for working artists and creatives to submit work and be recognized while they may not have time for a full art career. Many pros submit, but the spirit of this show is to welcome new artists and give great creative people a chance to show in a professional environment.
