Told you I still had sketches left! There’s one more after this.
Wow, this month has been intense, and the hustling is not over yet. It may be best if I keep doing the sketches at this rate. I have to work tonight, and still have more union business this month.
Saturday night, I had the opportunity to go to a Fetish Men Los Angeles meeting at Rick Castro’s Antebellum gallery in Hollywood. I went dressed in black, with leather pants, and my iconic hat. Walking down Hollywood Blvd, Spongebob Squarepants stopped me to say he liked my Westworld outfit. If I had time, I would have done my best Yul Brynner impersonation, pointed at him and said don’t smoke, just don’t smoke. I apologize if you have to be a kid from the 80’s to get that, but hey, who knew Spongebob watched 70’s sci-fi?
The meeting went well, and we hung out afterwards and enjoyed the fetish art Rick had on display by a variety of artists. The corset exhibit is still on display. It is worth mentioning that many of the photos, prints and painted pieces are quite reasonably priced. If you’re in Hollywood early before going to the club, Antebellum is definitely worth checking out. See http://antebellumgallery.blogspot.com for what Rick Castro is up to, and get details on events at Antebellum.
Before I forget, Tom’s Bar is today! Lots of men in leather, latex and boots having a beer bust at the Faultline. Rick from Antebellum has a table there today, and there will be drawing sessions, a silent art auction, contests, prizes and free stuff.
