The question that plagues every artist Is it done yet? Every art teacher wants you to push the limits, and go past the edge. The problem is, you can over work a piece, and yes, you can ruin a piece with color.
Latex Kiss is driving me absolutely batshit crazy. The idea was this intense fetish scene with highlights and bright color. Neon pink latex blasting out in contrast with the dark heavy rubber. The problem was the highlights and shadows were just too damned distracting.
I can’t call this piece done, but I know I’m close. It’s now a matter of subtly adding more without fucking the piece up completely.
