I’m trying to keep from quitting. Quitting what? you may ask. Whatcha ya got? I’ll get over it. The vanilla night gig got a little weird last night and this week, a lot of things came out of the woodwork. It would be fine if that were my only job, but I’m not the vanilla guy that works one gig.
So, I’m sitting here at the desk, with new readers thanks to the press release. Two interviews are done. There’s a bunch of unfinished art waiting for completion, and I really should update. Since a lot of you are new, I’ll bring up some stuff from the archives. Like the piece above. I don’t know why exactly I thought we’d have everyday people in latex carrying guns and Japanese swords while hardwired into their cell phone networks. It just seemed really cool at the time. Thank heavens for smartphones and Google glass. Can you imagine having a camera implant in your eye? That would hurt!
On the list of things to do today is to find a good pic for my submission to the Tom of Finland artist links page. I need something that leans to the male side and, can be cropped into a g-rated graphic for their e-mail newsletter. Wow, that’s a toughy, especially when most of the men I draw have nipple clamps.
