Today is abuzz with Christmas chores. Cleaning up, doing laundry, and getting things done. Sitting in the way of all this has been a pair of boots I bought at Goodwill for $20. They looked really cool and I’ve wanted a pair of sexy boots for when I go to draw at play parties and events.
I’m lucky enough to have small feet. I can just barely fit the larger sizes of women’s shoes. The problem is, when I bought these, my feet were just a touch too big. I could only get one on, and was really pushing my luck with the zipper.
So today, I had to make a major decision. To see if I had lost enough weight to fit, see if I could find a way to wrangle into these, or just put these out of the way until a better use for them came along.
They fit! I needed a little talc, and to be very, very careful zipping them up. I was so excited, I had to get a couple of pics and share my glee. I can’t wait to take these out on the town!
