It’s been a frustrating day. Who am I kidding, it’s been a frustrating year. It feels like every morning recently that I am absolutely pressed for time with no break. The irony being my vanilla “night gig” gets in the way, but is the primary means of my income at the moment.
The interview with The Baroness is done, and sent over to Ynot.com. It was great to do, but took a huge amount of energy and time. It’s also created a major deviation from the client, New York Rubber Ball/Miss Rubber World. So tomorrow morning, it’s time to get back on track there.
I have had some time to work on art, but it’s been mostly in progress. The ink on Afro Domme is complete, but I’m going to color it in tonight after when I get back from work.
There’s some additional good news. My birthday was this month. Sherry got me white tires for the Grey Mistress chopper style bicycle. Sunday night, Maija and Leticia helped me put them on the bike in a major production that included serious work on the front bearings, swapping out the back wheel, and a variety of tweaks and adjustments. We followed this by a great dinner of BBQ pork sandwiches and beans provided by Sherry, and washed down with some nice beer.
The night had one additional treat. I light up the Grey Mistress like a Christmas tree, with lights all over, but I rarely see what she’s like in motion. Sunday night, everyone was fascinated by how bright the bike is. Leticia asked for a test ride, and I got to see what the Grey Mistress looked like with all lights on in motion. The view is dazzling, and I’m very proud. The ladies agree it looks like a small motorcycle on approach and all if you can’t see that bike coming at night, you shouldn’t be driving.
It was my goal to take some photos and ride out to the night gig on the bike today, but, pressed for time as usual, that will have to wait until next week.
But wait! Next week is my vacation! So I’ll have plenty of time to ride the Grey Mistress then, and I’ll have plenty of artwork to bring with me when volunteering for Domcon!
Time to go. It may stop, but it never ends…
