This fetish art piece was for a big club night I was doing publicity for a few years ago. They were having issues with their “mascot” and I was whipping this up as a present. Not naming names, but you may be able to guess the club from the graphic.
Unfortunately, things went sideways. They got a little greedy and bit off way more than they could chew with a vanilla side project that put Sherry and I behind the 8-ball with our peers in the adult industry. Pity too. I liked working for the big event, and there was a lot of potential.
But the art was fun to do. It still has potential for cards and other stuff. Might even make a good painting someday.
Meanwhile Xbiz 360 is going well. We made an appearance with porn star Linda Roberts and our houseguest, author M. Christian. I caught the tail end of the fetish panel, and we caught up with Ninn Worx photographer Chris King.
Linda really hit it off well with M. Christian over lunch here in porn valley. They’re both well traveled and had a lot in common. Afterwards, he and I went over to Los Angeles Science Fiction and Fantasy Society’s Thursday meeting. This was completely on a lark, it simply came to me as a good idea, and he was a hit. Christian donated a couple of signed books. We poured over their art library and talked shop with members, then had a great time at the diner down the street.
