I can’t believe it’s been over a month since I updated. This is starting to feel like a Nic Buxom comic. I’m sorry there wasn’t really anything for Christmas, but I have to admit. I was pretty much over it by solstice.

One of my first drawings for Club WICK

One of my first drawings for Club WICK, Women In Command of Kink. Yes, I was inspired by a certain comic, and wanted to see what the text would look like in italics.

I couldn’t figure out why I was so exhausted, so soon, and felt so lacking in getting presents for Sherry until it dawned on me that I was putting in 10-12 hour shifts on the driving gig, with very little down time available.

My idea for this is the logotype will go across the middle. I’m thinking of swapping out the flames for some flames from another drawing.

Not to say there has been no drawing this month. I finally got down to doing some logo work for Club WICK, aka Women In Control of Kink. The challenge is the logo calls for a woman leaning over and blowing out a candle mounted on her slave’s tongue. The wick of the candle is the form of a woman wielding a whip.

One of the fuller drawings for Club WICK

One of the fuller drawings for Club WICK. I’m not sold on the lettering and profile of the Domme. I wanted to see this through, and am already working on another view of this scene.

That’s a tall order, especially for a logo that may be reduced down to less than an inch tall. But I’ve learned some things. We can break this up into multiple graphics. The candle wick, the logotype, and the illustrations can all be separate art with separate uses.

On a final note. Sherry and I went to the Tom Of Finland potluck. I got to sit on Black Santa’s lap. I told him I wanted a Red Ryder BB Gun, a singletail whip, and Sherry wanted Josh Brolin in a jock strap. His elf handed me a huge bag of goodies, including a Tom’s Bar T-shirt and one of Tom’s illustrated books.

I’ll try to do another update on New Year’s Day. It might be a retrospective, but I’m also thinking of doing a recap of my favorite fetish things for 2015. While I don’t feel comfortable officially handing out awards, I do want to start acknowledging some of the best fetish stuff out there for the year.

Happy New Year!
