Damn, this guy’s got a strong back!
I whipped up this piece while at AVN, and I’ll confess, it’s been altered a bit. The sculpture on the left is a little off on the original drawing. This got started when I was scanning boxcovers. I’d get a stack of VHS boxes to scan, place one on the scanner, hit start, wait for the scan to finish, and place another one on. Not only was it tedious, but there was a gap while waiting for the scan to finish. So for a while, I’d keep a sketchpad handy and do what I could.
One of the bosses didn’t like that. So I found something else to do with the time. I became well known for multitasking. On the other hand, some nice pieces came together before then.
This became one of those pieces I wasn’t sure what to do with, so it is certainly at home here.
