Old Dommes, New Dommes

Fun Dommes, Cruel Dommes…

You must be thinking by now, “all this has been great for you, but do you have any Dommes other than old artwork from the 90’s?”

Subbie paradise. Alien Domme and her subbie friends.

Yes I do! Subbie paradise was part of a plan I had to do some animation. That’s why there’s no heavy accents on the lines, no cross hatching, or color. Really funny to me is about this time, I stumbled upon the artwork of Kami Tora, courtesy of The Glow Inside. Kami draws a lot of transsexual artwork and gender bent themes, and while cruising the art, I found a word I’ve never heard before Futa. Futa is a male to female transsexual, or a hermaphrodite, but in the Japanese way of distorting everything, a futa’s boobs and cock are usually out of proportion to what hormones will allow in real life.

Kinda funny, I’ve been drawing something on and off for years, never knew there was a name for it.

Back cover, Dominatrix Calendar 1998. Stylish Domme with lovely subbie.

The search through the archives last week really gave me some great results, but there’s a lot of holes left to fill. This is the back cover of the Dominatrix Calendar 1998. It really highlights an important issue with the calendar. I really wanted this to be full on unique piece of art. Not only were the copies signed and numbered, but the grid for the each month was hand drawn with little details like whips, lightening bolts, paddles, and bones. Moon phases and pagan holidays were included for many of the Goddess worshipers that were in the BDSM scene.

By this point, the artwork was also getting much tighter. While there were still some filler pieces, art of the Dommes in general were getting stronger and more distinct. The fountain was inspired by some real fountains I’ve seen. A jet of natural gas runs through the water, when it hits the surface, it burns. I wanted such a fountain, but with jets of water that formed a web.
