Sunday Mornin, Brings the Dawnin…Femdom, Dominatrix Calendars and Rubber Art

Ad for 1995 Dominatrix Calendar

So, my mind is wandering across the web and I type in FemdomArtists.com. This pops up a great archive, which I’d swear I’ve seen before, but can’t place it. The site is very much in the same vein as Gloria Brame’s blog.

Well, I’m not listed on Femdom Artists, and at the moment, it’s no big surprise. It’s not like I’ve hyped anything with my art since moving to Meow Manor a few years ago. The calendars were done long ago. So I’ve linked to the blog on my blogroll and sent over an e-mail (wow this guy’s hard to get a hold of, but I can’t say I’m surprised in this day and age).  But it really sank in, I seriously need to archive the Dominatrix Calendar series. I’ve drafted a page and started sorting out graphics.

Folsom, Inspired by Folsom Street Fair and The San Francisco Scene

There is a large amount of unarchived Femdom art I need to scan and upload. My suspicion is that when I originally posted the galleries of calendar art, that I wanted the better and saucier fetish art up there. I’ll admit, some pieces were weak and others were filler, but in hindsight, it doesn’t make them bad. I really liked some of those pieces.

I’ll go ahead and post what I have so far when I have a larger group of Dominatrix art organized and assembled. I’ll add in pieces as they’re scanned and uploaded (not easy since the  Dominatrix Calendar 1995 is 11″x14″).

More progress on Rubber Time's tattoo design

Meanwhile the progress continues on Rubber Time’s tattoo art. I figured a way to add in the corset, and left me a way out so far if it doesn’t work. The original drawing used a seam right down the middle of the rubber catsuit. So I need some way to work that seam into the corset. Once I’ve got that inked in, I’m committed.

Jay E. Moyes' Bobber Bike Project

There’s a lot of art to do today and later work continues on the bobber-style bicycle. Which has also inspired an upcoming post with art about the difference between choppers and bobbers. Yesterday I installed the headlight, generator and got some grips. Today will be hooking up the brakes.

When we get home, I’m surprising Sherry with some serious attention to her feet and legs. She’s had a hard week, and some more TLC should help.
